Commentary: The building that is venue of the Fundación Canal Isabel II is the result of an industrial archaeology project. Thus, a former water pumping station of beginnings of the 20th century has now become a modern cultural centre with workshops, exhibition halls, gardens and a magnificent auditorium. The building is situated next to the water tower located in Plaza de Castilla.
